Edge Esmeralda 2026 is a month-long popup village in Healdsburg, California — May 30 to June 27, 2026 — for people working at the cutting edge of science, technology, and culture.
This is the third year in Healdsburg. The popup village is a testing ground for Esmeralda, the permanent village Edge City is building 15 minutes away. 
What it is
A residential village where ~500 builders, researchers, and creators live and work together for the month. Days are for deep work in shared coworking spaces. Evenings are for salons, family-style dinners, sauna + cold-plunge, and unplanned conversations on bike rides home.
Each week has its own theme (Protocols for Flourishing → Intelligence and Autonomy → Emergent Futures & World Building → Environments of Tomorrow), with programming kicking off Monday. Saturdays and Sundays are for arrival, orientation, demo day, and the town hall.
How to participate
Apply — applications reviewed on a rolling basis
Stay for as long as you can. The longer the stay, the more value from overlaps between communities. Full-month stays are the most immersive.
Once accepted, buy a ticket, then book housing — they’re separate.
